Discover the Contemporary art with the Taxis Tram

When we think of contemporary art in Paris, international references as Beaubourg or the Palais de Tokyo immediately come to mind. However, the capital, and even the Ile-de-France, relies on a very rich and varied stakeholder pool, often unknown by the general public. This is what the association Tram tries to make us discover through a network joining more than 30 places involved in the production and spread of contemporary art.

In addition to promoting artistic creations, the association organizes one or two times per month (Saturday) Taxis Tram tours, whose main objective is to promote access to these art centers. The concept is quite simple: from Paris, the association will take you by bus to different places for a whole day or half a day, according to the program. And the real advantage of these visits is that you will be welcomed and accompanied by the curators or the artists themselves. An original, and privileged, way to understand the exhibited works.

Municipal galleries, cultural centers, art houses, collective of artists, museums … The network is especially as complete as it is not exclusive since it gets both together famous places of Paris (Museum of Modern Art, Palais de Tokyo) as restrictive artistic scenes.

Cultural walks definitively out of the beaten tracks, intelligently balancing artistic discovery and meetings with art professionals.
